“This is a false statement. I have not signed with any new management. I am now completely independent and building my own team as I try to do things my way,” Baraka said.
He went on to say that he has been with the managers he described as his brothers for five years, and now it is time for him to “separate and grow.”
Late last month, reports circulated online claiming that Baraka had parted ways with his managers, Lobstar and DJ Ssese.
Other reports claimed that his tour dates were being managed by Richard, the manager of his girlfriend, DJ Etania.
Baraka rose to fame with his hit song “Nana,” released in 2023. He is seen by many as one of the artists who can take Ugandan music to the international stage.
