Burna Boy Apologizes for What He Did

Nigerian Grammy Award-winning musician Dlamini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has apologized in a new video that is going viral.

In the video, he is seen performing on stage in Texas and is believed to have taken the step following poor ticket sales for his shows, following a controversial incident at one of his shows.

He has defended himself by saying that what he did was a slip of the tongue and that he did not mean what he said.

The trouble began during Burna Boy’s show in Denver, Colorado, in the United States, when he stopped his set after discovering a female fan dozing off while sitting in the front row.

The singer demanded that the fan be removed before he could continue singing, demanding that the girl’s boyfriend get her out or the show be stopped altogether.

The incident has angered netizens around the world, a situation that has been exacerbated by the resurgence of an old video showing Burna Boy saying he loves rich fans and that he doesn’t ask anyone for support.

After widespread criticism online, many fans reportedly boycotted his shows, leading to poor ticket sales at various tour stops.
