Ugandan musician and comedian Uncle Chumi has sparked a controversy online after he demanded the return of the money he gifted to fellow musician Sheebah during a live performance.

Chumi, whose real name is Mushabe Crek Haidare, was live on TikTok, where he criticized Sheebah and Ritah Dancehall, insisting that the two should return the 3 million shillings he gave them on stage.

According to him, he was a little drunk when he gave the money, and now he wants it back so he can use it for other things.

“Sheebah Malkia, in all the years you have been performing on stage with Ritah Dancehall, don’t you know the difference between a slightly drunk person and a sober person? I gave you my 3 million, and you keep it in your pocket,” said Chumi.

He went on to say that he wants his money back, adding, “Find a way to collect it and return it.”

This incident adds to the long list of acrobatic incidents involving Uncle Chumi, who has built a reputation for controversy both online and offline.

Many fans will remember his heated argument with Spice Diana, which stemmed from a disagreement over a remix they did together.

The dispute ultimately killed their relationship.

So far, Sheebah and Ritah Dancehall have not given a clear answer to the claims of refund. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the two musicians will handle the allegations.
